Set in the three thousand year old Lanarian Empire, this series currently contains a trilogy concentrating on the events surrounding the latest war between the Night-Souled — creatures who feed upon the life force of others in order to extend their own lives — and the elves, humans, dwarves, and half-elves who stand against them. These brave fighters dedicate their lives to the Lanarian Empire, upholding its tenets, protecting its boundaries, and quelling rebellions that inevitably spring up when someone covets the Empty Throne upon which Lanarius Treventos once sat.
